Cultural Diversity and WoW week

For the past few weeks we have been focussing our topic work on cultural diversity. Within our syndicate we looked at ways different cultures celebrate birthdays.

On Friday we had a celebration day where we looked at all the learning from around the school and then celebrated with a shared cultural lunch. Here are a few photos from the celebration

WoW Week:

This week is a wow week with a focus on being bright and eating right. Today we made bread in our class bread maker. The students took part in making the bread, watching the dough rise and then baking. At the end of the process we ate our creation YUM !!  We have written down the steps involved in making bread. See if your son or daughter can remember all the steps involved using the photos.

McDonalds- We have started an observation of what happens to a cheeseburger when left. Here is our first day photo. We expect that after a few days the burger might start to deteriorate Watch and see.
